We have a tradition here at Saffron (which I think is common in most companies) that I completely forgot about about. Tuesday this week was my first day back from the break, and pretty hectic, Wednesday I was in London all day at meetings and Thursday was consumed with MPC announcements and planning how to deal with that, but I should have bought cakes for all the staff for my recent 40th.
A number of staff read this blog and promptly reminded me that it was nice that I had advertised my recent birthday, but where was their cake?
So Friday is cake day here at Saffron - oops!
